About: This coffee was sourced directly through a friendship we’ve developed with producer Alejandro Ariza who owns Finca la Argelia with his family. We had the pleasure of meeting Alejandro and trying his coffee with him. While cupping, we got to talking about what coffee meant to him, and he told me a story about his memory of picking pink bourbon with his grandfather as a child so that is his favorite coffee. He was inspired to produce coffee by a family friend in the coffee industry who happens to be Diego Bermudez.

His lifelong passion for coffee and desire to learn from the greats has paid off, and we’re honored to be able to share his crop with you. This pink bourbon is grown at 1632 masl, washed, and dried in parabolic drying beds.

After having this coffee, it's no surprise that this is a favorite. The balance this coffee has is wonderful, and we could easily sip this all day. We’re tasting peach tea, berries, vanilla, and bright florals with delicate acidity. This makes a wonderful pour over. As drip/immersion, the body increases a bit and has an increased presence of fruit. The espresso from this is also surprisingly good, especially as a long shot or americano.
