About: This outstanding coffee was produced by Andres Martinez at Finca el Sendero. We were fortunate to get this coffee through our friends over at Unblended. Andres is a biochemical engineer who worked with Diego Bermudez at Finca el Paraiso before starting his own project. Using his biochemical engineering background along with the knowledge he gained at Paraiso, Andres is producing some seriously incredible coffees.

This caturra underwent a 48 hour fermentation with beer yeast (our favorite) before being depulped and fermented again for 24 hours. The semi-washed process means the cherries were depulped dry and subsequently fermented in water. The resulting coffee is an explosion of florals like lavender and jasmine with an incredible honey-like sweetness and notes of citrus. This is one of our favorite pour-overs, but drinking this as an espresso and/or milk based drink is outrageous.
